Shannon was born in England and grew up in South Dakota. She is a proud Arizona State SunDevil where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice as well as her Juris Doctor of Law.
Shannon has extensive courtroom experience and worked as a Law Clerk for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in Phoenix before moving to New Mexico. In Albuquerque, she worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the 2nd Judicial District for two years in the Metropolitan Division as well as the Juvenile Division. Shannon handled a diverse caseload ranging from petty misdemeanors to serious violent felony offenses where she honed her courtroom skills and gained experience in the areas of trial work, negotiation, and litigation.
Shannon incorporates her numerous skills gained working in prosecution to the practice of divorce and family law. Her goal is to help her clients through what may be a trying process and aims to make it as smooth as possible. She is willing to fight for her clients whether that be during negotiations or in the courtroom, making her a strong advocate for divorce and family law clients.
When she’s not working in the office, Shannon enjoys teaching dance classes at a local studio as well as exploring the beautiful Albuquerque Foothills trails.
